Club activities are community activities where students interested in the same things can spend time together in a common interest.<\/p>\n

How can I participate in Club Activities?<\/strong>
Here you will find more detailed information about the clubs operating under Helga and their activities. Clubs follow Helga’s club rules, and in addition they may have their own rules. Any member of the student union can join a club. If you want to join a club, send a message to the club contact person.<\/p>\n

Establishment of a club<\/strong>
Can’t find the right one for you from the current club offer? We are constantly looking for new club leaders to expand Helga’s club operations. According to a club activity survey conducted in 2018, the 10 most desirable clubs were: choir, video game club, movie club, language clubs, board game club, book club, sports clubs, cooking club, photography club and craft club.<\/p>\n

How do I start my own club?<\/strong>
If you are interested in running a club, read Helga’s club rules (you can find them in the administrative rules<\/span><\/a><\/span>), and fill out the club\u2019s founding form<\/span><\/a><\/span>. A member of Helga’s board will then contact you.<\/p>\n

Helga Club Tupa brings together all Haaga-Helia students interested in nerd culture. We actively play board games, card games, and computer games together and organize movie nights. Every Monday at 2:00 PM during teaching weeks, an open basketball session is held in the Pasila campus sports hall, located below the school restaurant. This session is open to all Haaga-Helia students and offers a relaxed atmosphere for playing. Players of all skill levels are welcome \u2013 no prior basketball experience is needed. Just bring your sports gear and come play.<\/p>\n

Helga Sports Club is a sports club intended for all students of Haaga-Helia. The club organizes relaxed game nights and, if possible, a chance to try out different sports. The goal is to provide students with the possibility to try out more different activities and to increase general well-being. Students participate in the activity by coming to the events that are notified in advance or by searching for a game\/sports company on the club’s Discord server. Participating in the activity does not require top fitness or special sports experience, but everyone is welcome!
