The Student Union Helga is seeking a Project Coordinator to be responsible for the planning and execution of Helga’s 20th anniversary celebration. The anniversary gala will be held in November 2026 and offers a unique opportunity to be involved in organising a significant milestone event in the student union’s history.
As a Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the planning process and practical arrangements of the anniversary celebration and ensure the smooth progress of different areas in cooperation with the project team and other stakeholders. You will play a central role in managing the overall project from the initial planning phase through to the implementation of the event.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning and practical organisation of Helga’s 20th anniversary celebration
- Leading the project team and coordinating their work
- Contacting corporate partners and coordinating cooperation
- Other tasks related to organising the anniversary celebration (e.g. scheduling, overall project management, and communication and marketing materials)
We expect from you:
- Good knowledge of Haaga-Helia and the Student Union Helga
- Previous experience in organising anniversary celebrations or similar events

- Fluent Finnish and English language skills
- Ability to manage large entities and work independently
- Strong interaction and organisational skills
We offer:

- 1,000€ compensation upon successful completion of the event
- No fixed working hours are defined for the position; time spent on the task will be based on the requirements of the role.
