You can reserve the Helga Kitchen for your use. The premises can be reserved from Monday to Friday from 17.30 to 23.00.

Reservation for the Kitchen is behind the link after the instructions.

When you reserve the Helga Kitchen, please remember to write down what your event name / reservation’s subject is (meaning what are you using the space for) and how many people are estimated to be at the Kitchen to the reservation description. All the reservations need to be confirmed by Helga’s boards so send a message to lounge@helga.fi after your booking. If you need to also use the Helga Lounge, please mention that in the email.

As your booking is confirmed you are responsible for the premises and liable to compensate for any damages caused. Your responsibility expires after someone from Helga’s office has inspected the premises after the event. As the responsible person you must see to it that you are the first to enter and last to leave the premises. Furthermore, you are responsible for the supervision of the event and cleaning up afterwards (dishes, trash, chairs and sofas to their original places). You must leave the premises before 23.00.

Remember that Helga Kitchen and Lounge are on school premises and everyone who attends the event needs to act accordingly. This means that no alcohol is consumed and you won’t make too much noise (there are people trying to study in the classroom nearby).

It could be such a fun place to study and hang out with friends, but there are always so many drunk student association people there.
I just don’t feel comfortable to be there, and i’m not the only one.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. This space is supposed to be a safe and alcohol-free place for everybody. We will discuss the matter with the associations as well. It is important to us that all students feel comfortable here.
