The Student Union Helga is looking for a trainee(s) for the autumn season to improve the communality of Haaga-Helia’s students and to create unforgettable study memories together with the rest of the office. The trainees duties include producing small events and partnership coordinating. However, we are primarily looking for an event coordinator trainee who has the vision and enthusiasm to make Helga an even better community.
Planned tasks:
- The intern will produce the Miniherkkuappro events in both Helsinki and Porvoo, as well as assist in organizing other established events that support student well-being.
- The intern will assist in acquiring and coordinating partnerships.
- The duties will include communications and assisting with budgeting.
Additional tasks that may be offered depending on time and the intern’s interests:
- The intern may organize one or more company excursions for Helga members.
We will focus the intern’s tasks on their skills and interests, so you don’t have to know everything!
We offer versatile and responsible training in a youthful work environment. The trainee is supported by Helga’s board and specialists and we are not looking for a ready-made expert – the passion to learn and do is the most important thing!
We offer flexible remote work opportunities, although some of the tasks are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The duration of the traineeship is a maximum of 3 months and can be carried out either full-time (30h/week) or according to the wishes of the people selected part-time. The timing of the traineeship is negotiable, but the start should preferably be during August on week 37. Trainees are compensated EUR 1,000 per month (in full hours).
The internship is part of a communality project funded by the Helia Foundation.
