In this position, you will be able to plan and implement sports services tailored to the needs of students to support their well-being and become part of the student community. You have a unique opportunity to launch sports services from a completely clean slate.
Your job description includes, among other things:
- Designing new sports services and producing an action plan.
- Building cooperation with Haaga-Helia and other partners.
- Designing the brand and communication of new sports services.
- Developing facilities and systems to support the new services.
We require:

- A university or university of applied sciences degree or a degree in the final year
- Good verbal and written skills in Finnish and English
- Experience in planning and implementing sports services
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Decision-making and negotiation skills

- Previous experience in student union activities or other student organization activities

As a student union specialist, you will grow as an expert and a professional in the field of sports. The more specific content of the task can be tailored to the selected person’s previous knowledge and interests.
The specialist’s task is part-time (75%), 3 days a week according to Helga’s four-day work week. The duration of the job is fixed-term (6 months). The basis for the fixed-term work is project funding. It is possible to continue the work after 6 months if continuous funding can be negotiated. The work will start in August-September according to the agreement. The collective agreement of the student unions of universities of applied sciences applies to the position. The salary is in accordance with the student unions’ TES level IV.
