RaflaRumba Appro is looking for the next project manager to take care of organizing the event. The project manager will be responsible for the execution of RaflaRumba Appro in the spring of 2027 in accordance with the objectives set by the event steering committee. This position is suitable for a person with relevant studies and experience in event production such as through student organization activities.
The position includes:
- project team recruitment in August, orientation and leadership
- drawing up the budget and plans for the project and marketing
- contract negotiation with collaborators
- reports to the the steering committee
- event day coordinating
- execution review and ideas for development for next year
- orientation of the next project manager
Success in this position requires:
- Experience in organizing events of a similar scale
- Experience in leadership, budgets and project-based work
- A solid understanding of student culture, especially from the student unions that own the event
- Commitment to the project until April 2027
- The ability to work in Finnish and English
Considered as assets:
- Graphic design experience
- Marketing and communication knowledge
The position pays a one time salary 1000 euros after the event has been brought to completion. In addition to the salary, the project manager has a chance to earn a 7,5% commission, provided that the steering committee’s objectives are fulfilled.
