In the summer you can donate, specifically blood!

Donating blood is an easy way to help fellow humans because with one donation you can help up to three patients. The need for donated blood does not end during the summer holidays. Donors are needed every weekday from all blood groups.

The Student Union Helga encourages students to donate blood during the summer with Helga’s blood donation campaign. When you go to donate blood, you will receive a card with the donation place and date as a proof. In autumn, you can use that card to claim yourself a special coverall patch as a thank you for your donation. You can make an appointment to donate blood on the Blood Service website https://www.veripalvelu.fi/en/. If you haven’t donated blood before, go test your suitability with the “Can I donate” test.
