Welcome to celebrate 16-year-old Helga!

We are pleased to invite everyone to celebrate Haaga-Helia’s student union Helga’s 16th anniversary on Saturday 26th of November 2022.

The festivities start at 17:00 with a cocktail party, where guests have the opportunity to give their greetings, after which we move on to the evening party starting at 18:00. The annual gala is organized at Ensi Linja 1, 00530 Helsinki.

After the evening party ends, the party continues at the Apollo night club, which serves as the official afterparty place for the annual gala. The anniversary herring breakfast “sillis” will be celebrated on Sunday 27th of November 2022. from 12:00 noon at Allianssi house at Asemapäällikönkatu 1, 00520 Helsinki.

The price of the dinner card for the party is €80.00 for a member (non-member €95.00, supporter’s ticket €150.00) including the evening party and afterparty. The price of the herring breakfast is €3.00. If you have not participated in the annual gala but you wish to participate in the herring breakfast, you can buy ticket which costs €10.00. Registration for the party opens on September 5. and closes no later than 27.10 18:00. Open sales start 28.10. and ends 4.11.

Etiquette

The dress code is a dark suit, or an evening/party dress. According to the etiquette, the evening dress is combined with a shoulder scarf and a bag without a shoulder strap. Long hair must be tied.

Academic honors are part of the costume for the annual gala. With a suit or tailcoat, the ribbon runs from the right shoulder down to the left, in an evening dress as a rosette on the left breast area so that the ribbon does not touch bare skin.

About the venue

The space is accessible. The ballroom floor is handicapped accessible. If you are coming in a wheelchair, please contact us so that we can assist you from the K floor with the elevator to the ballroom.

Everyone has a designated place at the table at the party. You can find your seat on the table map on the wall. If you are coming with a friend, you can indicate your seating preference in the registration form, in which case we will try to seat friends close to each other.

There is an unguarded cloakroom at the party venue. Leave your outer clothes on the rack, but keep your valuables with you in a pocket or bag.
