Apply SAMOK mandate

The Representative Council meeting on 21.9. will decide who will be the candidate for the SAMOK board for the year 2023. The mandate does not guarantee that the candidate will get into SAMOK but it guarantees the opportunity to be the Student Union Helga’s candidate. 

The Student Union and its specialists will support the candidate throughout the election period. In addition, a campaign manager will be appointed to be their right hand. Candidates are expected to have time and commitment during the election period, when they will participate in various discussion panels, meet and present themselves to stakeholders, and negotiate the upcoming elections.

SAMOK’s board to the year 2023 will be elected at the general assembly in October, when the chairperson, vice-chairperson, and 3-7 board members will be elected. The term of office begins on 1.1 and ends on 31.12, but the training for the tasks will be during December. You can read more about SAMOK’s activities here.

You can apply for the mandate by sending a free-form application to Helga’s Representative Council by email (edustajisto2022@helga.fi) or by standing as a candidate at the meeting on 21.9. Please also join the meeting at Pasila auditorium at 5pm. The applicant must be a member of Helga and commit to its values ​​and political program. The official operating languages of SAMOK are Finnish and Swedish.
