Helga is looking for an event trainee

The Student Union Helga is looking for an event coordinator trainee for the spring season to improve the community spirit of Haaga-Helia’s students and to diversify Helga’s event offering. The duration of the internship is approximately 2-3 months and can be completed either full-time (37.5 hours / week) or part-time, depending on the wishes of the person selected.

The trainee’s responsibilities include:

  • Organizing low-threshold (nonalcoholic) events for Haaga-Helia students
  • Making communication materials for events to be organised
  • Other tasks assigned by the employer

  • Previous experience in the making of communication materials
  • Ability to budget and understanding event organizing

We offer versatile and responsible training in a youthful work environment. The trainee is supported by Helga’s community and communication team and we are not looking for a ready-made expert – the passion to learn and do is the most important thing! We offer flexible remote work opportunities, although some of the tasks are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area. The internship starts at the beginning of April and lasts about 2-3 months, depending on the number of working hours per week and the wishes of the person selected. However, we are flexible when it comes to starting the internship. The trainee will be paid 1,000 euros per month (full-time). The internship is part of the “Helga as a Promoter of Student Well-Being” project funded by the Helia Foundation.
