Gratefulness calendar

In December Helga organized a gratefulness calendar, where we thanked people we work with, our partners and a lot more. At the end of the gratefulness calendar we wanted to hear from our students what they are thankful for and here you can see their answers:

“Family and work.”

“I am thankful for the opportunity to study remotely.”

“Well, I have lots of things to be grateful for, but I’m extremely thankful for supporting and lovely people around me. This year was hard, but (shock) one of the best! Thank you, guys, for making this calendar for us <3″

“I am thankful that I finally got to study the field that I’m interested in!”

“Girl in red, friends, online community and family.”

My job, experiences and new friends.”

“The Liidi tutors have been amazing! Thank you for everything that you have done for us.”

“I am thankful for the super tutor group HELI in Pasila! Even though a lot has been cancelled and organized differently than before, there has still been enough motivation and endurance to do things. Go you and go us!”

“I am grateful for all the people who I have gotten to meet this year and who I get to call my friends. Last year was really hard emotionally and I felt really lonely and did not really think that I could ever feel differently. But somehow these certain people found their way into my life and I have been happier than I have been in a long time even though the rest of the world dove into chaos. I am also grateful for the few people in my life that have stayed by my side year after year, even while living in another country. I am grateful that destiny has given me the opportunity to meet these amazing and wonderful people!”

“I’m grateful for my best friend of over 20 years. We’re living together which made social distancing a lot more bearable. We’re sharing a lot of memories together, and have gone through good and bad times, which only made our friendship stronger. I wouldn’t wanna miss her for anything in the world! She’s my rock, my person, my Flocki!”

“I am grateful that my friends and family have been healthy this year and I am thankful for our teachers and my study advisor for making school as smooth, safe, and stress free during these unusual times 🙂 <3″

“By the words of the song; Kristen Bell – Home,
I whistle as I walk, a lovely smell of kransekake
Walking out of the baker’s door
The merchants haggling over fish remind me
I have what I wish
Cause I’m not alone anymore.”

Thank you to all the respondents, Helga wishes everyone a wonderful start of the year!
